Sit to Stand Progressions
Sit to Stand transfers are very important to practice. The videos in this segement progress from the easiest to most difficult transfers you will encounter.
-Chair with Arms

-Stand while holding an object
-Soft chair without Arms
This is a weight shifting exercises that is important for balance during activities, as well as while walking. If you feel unsteady, have a sturdy chair or countertop in front of you for support.
Toe and Calf raises are important exercises needed during walking, balancing and fall recovery. Practice these with a sturdy support surface nearby or in front of you.
This is another balance exercise in which you may need additional support from the countertop or a sturdy chair

Diagonal Extension
Diagonal extension is a great exercise for strengthening your core muscles. It will be difficult at first, but stick with it! You will be on the floor, so make sure you are on a soft surface.
